What is the difference between VRV and VRF?
The same technology: VRV is Daikin’s trademarked name (Variable Refrigerant Volume); other manufacturers call it VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow).
Is VRV only for commercial buildings?
Mostly, but compact S-series systems bring VRV architecture to large multi-level homes where ducted zoning alone runs out of headroom.
