A multi-split runs two to five indoor heads from a single outdoor unit. Each room keeps independent control, and you only need one outdoor position: ideal for apartments, terraces and homes where outdoor space or body-corporate rules limit what you can mount.
Multi-split or ducted?
If you want three or more rooms conditioned and have roof space, ducted is often the cleaner whole-home answer. Multi-split wins when there is no ceiling cavity, when rooms are used very differently, or when you want to stage the spend room by room.

How many rooms can a multi-split run?
Typically two to five indoor units from one outdoor unit, depending on the combination of head sizes the outdoor unit supports.
Can each room have a different temperature?
Yes. Every indoor head is controlled independently, so a bedroom can sit at sleeping temperature while the living room does something else entirely.
Which brands do you install for multi-splits?
Panasonic’s multi-split range pairs two to five rooms from one outdoor unit, and most major brands we carry (Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, MHI) offer multi outdoor units across their wall-split ranges.
