It depends on the dwelling. Apartments and units around Manly suit a wall split or multi-head system; freestanding houses further north suit ducted, zoned so you only cool the rooms in use. We match the system to your home rather than defaulting either way.
Does salt air shorten the life of a beachside air conditioner?
Near the surf, yes, salt corrodes outdoor units faster than inland. Where the condenser is mounted and how it is shielded makes a real difference, so we site it with that in mind and talk you through the trade-offs.
Do you install in strata units on the Northern Beaches?
