More than a filter rinse
Deep cleaning strips mould, bacteria and odours from the indoor unit barrel and coil, sanitises ductwork and seals leaky runs: the difference between air that smells clean and air that actually is.
Who needs it most
Allergy and asthma households, rentals between tenants, and any system that smells musty on start-up. A clean system also runs measurably more efficiently: grime on a coil is insulation where you least want it.

My air conditioner smells when it starts: is that mould?
Usually, yes: mould and bacteria build up on the damp coil and barrel. A deep anti-bacterial clean removes it; running fan-only mode after cooling helps stop it coming back.
Is duct cleaning worth it?
If ducts are dusty, mouldy or leaking, absolutely: you are otherwise pushing conditioned air through the problem. We clean, sanitise and seal ducts in the same visit.
How is this different from a regular service?
A service checks and maintains the whole system; cleaning and sanitisation is the deep-clean layer: dismantling, washing and treating the indoor unit and ducts specifically for air quality.
