The 10kW MHI Bronte Split (model SRK100ZR-W) is sized for very large open-plan rooms and light commercial spaces. As a guide, it cools a room of up to about 73 to 83 m². That is from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' sizing chart for an insulated room: the larger figure if it faces north, the smaller if it faces east. Western sun, poor insulation and high ceilings bring it down. It is the largest capacity in the MHI Bronte Split range. For a smaller, well-insulated room the 9.5kW will do the job for less power draw.
