FAQs
Daikin Sky Air Cassette: your questions
What sizes does the Daikin Sky Air Cassette come in?
4 capacities: 8kW, 8.5kW, 9kW, 9.5kW. Each size has its own page with sizing guidance.
Which Daikin Sky Air Cassette size do I need?
As a rough guide, allow about 0.12 to 0.14kW of cooling per square metre for an insulated room, going by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' sizing chart. A 20m² bedroom needs about 2.4 to 2.8kW, so a 2.5kW covers it if the room faces north, and a 55m² open-plan area needs about 6.6 to 7.7kW. Insulation, ceiling height and afternoon sun all shift the number, so use our capacity calculator or send us photos and measurements for a precise recommendation.
What warranty applies to the Daikin Sky Air Cassette?
Daikin backs it with 5 yr parts & labour, and our installation carries our own workmanship warranty on top.
What stands out about the Daikin Sky Air Cassette?
Vertical and horizontal swing combine to circulate air effectively across large spaces. Air streams upwards when cooling and downwards when heating, matching how air actually moves.
