Overview

The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries FDUA250AVSAWVH is a high static reverse cycle ducted air conditioning system designed for very large homes, offices, retail spaces, and commercial buildings that require powerful airflow, long duct runs, and flexible zoning. The system includes the FDUA250VH indoor unit, FDCA250VSA-W outdoor unit, and RC-EXZ3A backlit wired controller for easy day-to-day operation. With 23.5kW cooling and 28.0kW heating capacity, this model is ideal for very large open-plan homes, commercial spaces, offices, warehouses, and areas around 110–160m² depending on insulation and layout. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ FDUA range is designed to deliver powerful whole-building comfort while maintaining efficient inverter performance.

Key Features & Benefits

High Static Pressure Performance

The system is designed for long duct runs, multiple outlets, and larger zoned ducted systems. Its high static pressure design ensures strong and even airflow throughout larger homes and commercial buildings, making it suitable for more demanding duct layouts.

3-Phase Power Supply

This model operates on 380–415V 3-phase power, making it ideal for larger homes and commercial properties with 3-phase electrical supply. The 3-phase configuration helps spread electrical load more evenly and is better suited to larger-capacity systems.

Powerful Cooling and Heating Performance

The system delivers 23.5kW of cooling and 28.0kW of heating, making it one of the largest models in the FDUA range. It is designed to maintain stable temperatures across multiple rooms and large open-plan spaces.

Energy Efficient Inverter Technology

The FDUA series uses inverter technology to automatically adjust compressor output based on room conditions. This helps provide more stable temperatures, quieter operation, and lower running costs than fixed-speed systems. The range also includes Economy Mode to help reduce power consumption.

High Power Mode

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ High Power Mode allows the system to temporarily increase output for faster cooling and heating when rapid temperature changes are needed.

Quiet Operation

Despite its large capacity, the FDUA range is designed for quiet day-to-day operation. Silent Mode helps reduce fan noise while maintaining comfort throughout the property.

Long Pipe Run Capability

The system supports maximum pipe runs up to 100 metres depending on installation layout, making it suitable for large homes, offices, and commercial buildings where the indoor and outdoor units may be positioned far apart.

R32 Refrigerant

The system uses modern R32 refrigerant, which provides improved efficiency and lower environmental impact compared to older refrigerants.

RC-EXZ3A Wired Controller Included

The included RC-EXZ3A backlit wired controller provides simple access to key functions including timer settings, operating mode selection, fan speed adjustment, and temperature control. Weekly timer, sleep timer, and automatic operation modes are also included.

Optional Wi-Fi and Zoning Compatibility

The system supports optional Wi-Fi control and can be integrated into zoned ducted systems for improved comfort and energy savings across multiple rooms.

Ideal Applications

  • Open-plan living areas
  • Offices
  • Retail spaces
  • Commercial buildings
  • Warehouses
